Kathleen was an Organist at the Medthodist Central, Slough for approximately 10 years. From 1949 - 1958 Kathleen entered 22 British Railways Festivals of Music and received over 70% in each of the following: Instrumental solos in organ and piano Sight reading in piano Musical composition During that 22 year period she acquired silver and bronze musical plaques for her talents. As an Organist she performed well known oratorios e.g. Mendelssohn's Elijah, Messiah, Stainer's Cruxifixion.
